Prewired harness to fit Fender® Precision Bass®.

Precision Bass harness consists of: 

• 2 x 250k SSS Premium® CTS pots (8% tolerance)
• 1 x 0.047uF SSS Premium® PIO capacitor
• 1 x Switchcraft USA 1/4'' jack socket
• Wired with Gavitt® braided hook up wire for ultimate shielding.

This prewired Precision Bass® harness is ideal for partscaster projects or upgrading the electronics in the majority of far eastern made/ DIY bass kit basses to a higher standard. Wired using the finest components, this kit offers an instant improvement to your bass project.

This Prewired bass kit makes use of a treble bleed on the volume control - reducing the "muddy" tone as the volume is dialled back.

SSS Premium® CTS Pots

Featuring SSS Premium® CTS pots, our prewired Precision Bass kit is the ultimate upgrade to stock electronics in modern guitars. SSS Premium® pots have a custom audio taper (as opposed to the modern 10% audio taper) giving more rounded control sweep from 10 to 1 with no choking or sudden drop offs.

Will this fit my bass?

This Precision Bass® prewired kit will fit genuine Fender® models with no modification necessary. If installing into an eastern import, you may be required to either drill your pickguard holes to 10mm diameter or choose a new pickguard.

Controls Knobs

Our PBass® kits use 1/4'' solid shaft pots. If fitting into a non Fender® model, you will likely need to change to imperial sized Telecaster knobs.
