Refund policy

We have an easy, hassle free returns policy. If you need to return an item to Six String Supplies Ltd, please let us know in writing (email or letter) within 30 working days of receiving the item and then return the item to receive a full refund.

In case of a return, you are entitled to the total amount you spent at the time of original purchase, being total value of goods as well as the original shipping fee.

If the reason for return is our error (incorrect or faulty item) then we will cover the cost of returning the goods ourselves.

If the return is due to a change of heart, or you have ordered the incorrect items, then the return postage is at your cost and your responsibility, in line with the distance selling regulations.

If the return is due to faulty or missing parts, we will offer a replacement or full refund.

PLEASE NOTE - liquid products, paints, aerosols, dyes etc...can not be returned under any circumstances unless faulty.

£100.00 Free UK Shipping returns rule

If an order of multiple items (£100.00 subtotal) allows you to benefit from free shipping within the UK and you then decide to return a portion of these items (which subsequently takes the subtotal to below £100.00) we will deduct the shipping cost of £3.95 that would originally have been paid from your refund.

Component(s) or wiring kits must be in a resaleable condition. Returned wiring kits and components that have been used will not be refunded.

Returned items are your responsibility and we reserve the right to refuse refunds or exchanges if the condition of the item(s) is not fit for resale.

In the event of refund: refunds take 5 working days to be processed and funds returned to your bank account.

Lifetime Guarantee

On 14th December 2022 we started to offer a life time guarantee on our prewired kits range (to the original purchaser only). This is effective from 14th December 2022 only. Orders placed before this date, are not subject to the lifetime guarantee.

Lifetime guarantee means we will repair or supply replacement parts free of charge to the original owner of the product. Lifetime guarantee is not available on passed down or second hand kits. Proof of purchase, name, order number and original contact details are required for validation.

Lifetime guarantee covers general wear and tear - not customer misuse or poor installation. As per our general terms and conditions, customers not confident with soldering, or who lack the equipment or knowledge, should have the kit installed by a qualified guitar tech.
