PRS Wiring Kit

This PRS wiring kit contains everything you need to upgrade or replace the electronics in your 2 knob PRS guitar.

PRS Wiring Kit:

• 2 x SSS Premium® CTS 500k pots
• 1 x Switchcraft® USA right angle toggle switch (+deep thread nut)
• 1 x Switchcraft® USA 1/4'' jack socket
• 1 x 0.022uF orange drop capacitor
• 3ft Gavitt braided hook up wire
• Tinned copper wire
• Heat shrink rubber tubing
• Optional SSS Premium® PIO upgrade
• Optional push pull pot for coil splitting

Optional Push Pull Pot

Choose from either a simple 1 volume, 1 tone kit, or upgrade to the push pull pot which enables coil splitting via the master tone control. The kit even includes the 1.1k and 2.2k resistors for the PRS partial coil tap.

SSS Premium® CTS Pots

Featuring SSS Premium® CTS pots, our PRS wiring kit is an authentic upgrade to stock electronics. SSS Premium® CTS pots have longer life brass shafts and bushings and a custom audio taper giving you a smoother and more rounded control sweep. No sudden choking or drop offs. SSS Premium® CTS pots are supplied to within 8% resistance tolerance.

SSS Premium® PIO capacitor

Constructed in the USA using the finest materials capacitors are impregnated with castor oil and soldered before being hermetically sealed in their aluminium cans. All measured to a fine capacitance tolerance of +/- 5%. These caps are comparable to the sought after Bumblebee and Vitamin-Q caps.

Will this fit my guitar?

This prewired PRS kit will fit genuine PRS models. The pot shaft diameter is 3/8'' (9.52mm). It can fit the vast majority of imported copies but it is likely you will be required to drill the tone and volume control holes through the body to a larger diameter (M10) to allow for the larger US made CTS pots.

NB - kits are supplied with cream, amber or black toggle switch tip depending on availability.
