Orange drop capacitors are a perfect upgrade capacitor offering beautiful sonic clarity compared to many factory standard ceramic caps in low end models. We stock 100v guitar friendly sized orange drops in a range of values ranging from 0.001uF to 0.1uF.
0.001uF - commonly used as part of a treble bleed network
0.0047uF - commonly used for the Eldred wiring mod on Esquire circuits.
0.015uF - a nice alternative to the 0.022uF in the neck position of a Les Paul, for example.
0.022uf - typically used with humbuckers or single coil equipped guitars.
0.033uF - perfect for that middle ground between a 0.022 and a 0.1uF
0.047uF - typically paired with single coils.
0.1uF - "dark" tone capacitor used in the 50s in Stratocaster models.
