Prewired harness for PRS 2 knob guitars. Wired “50’s Style” and grounded with vintage spec buss wire. Gavitt® USA braided hook up wire connects the switch to the volume pot and to the output jack.

Prewired PRS kit includes:

SSS Premium® CTS Pots

Featuring SSS Premium® CTS pots, our PRS wiring harness is an authentic upgrade to stock electronics. SSS Premium® CTS pots have longer life brass shafts and bushings and a custom audio taper as opposed to the modern 10% audio taper, giving you a smoother and more rounded control sweep. No sudden choking or drop offs. SSS Premium® CTS pots are supplied to within 8% resistance tolerance.

SSS Premium® PIO capacitor

Constructed in the USA using the finest materials (vintage spec aluminium foil and Kraft paper film) these little beauties are impregnated with castor oil and hand soldered before being hermetically sealed in their aluminium cans. All measured to a fine capacitance tolerance of +/- 5%. These caps are comparable to the highly sought after Bumblebee and Vitamin-Q caps from days gone by. Roll back the tone control and the clarity still shines through.

*PRS Coil Split

You can choose to upgrade to the push pull master coil split option. This includes a 1.1k and 2.2k resistor on a CTS push pull pot tone control for a partial coil split.

Will this fit my guitar?

This prewired PRS kit will fit genuine PRS models. The pot shaft diameter is 9.52mm. It can fit the vast majority of imported copies but it is likely you will be required to drill the tone and volume control holes through the body to a larger diameter (10mm) to allow for the larger US made CTS pots.
