Jazz Bass® wiring kit includes:
- 3 x 250k SSS Premium® CTS pots (8% tolerance)
- 1 x Switchcraft 1/4'' mono output jack
- 1 x 0.047 orange drop capacitor
- 2ft push back cloth wire (black)
- 2ft push back cloth wire (yellow)
- Optional SSS Premium® PIO capacitor upgrade

SSS Premium® CTS Pots
Featuring SSS Premium® CTS pots, our wiring kits are the ultimate upgrade to any model. SSS Premium® CTS pots have a custom taper as opposed to the modern 10% audio taper, giving you smoother and more rounded controls.
Will this fit my bass?
Note - these are CTS pots. The kit is designed to fit the Jazz Bass®. However, if installing into an imported model/copy, you may have to drill larger holes on the control plate to accommodate the larger diameter pot shafts (9.52mm) Due to many imported copies using very small pots, you may have to enlarge the control cavity on the inside. Take your guitar to a qualified technician in this case.
Control Knobs
You will need to ensure your control knobs are imperial and not metric - many smaller pots use metric pots whereas CTS pots accept imperial. For push fit knobs, choose the split shaft pots, or for screw fit knobs, choose the solid shaft pots.
